Through this online resource, field staff can enhance their knowledge with free courses through Medcom which is supplemental to the BAYADA classroom education, one-on-one preceptor and mentoring programs.
Medcom is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Many of the courses have contact hours associated with them for home health aides and clinicians. A variety of topics are available, including cardiac monitoring, infection control, pain management, pediatrics, wound care, and home health aide training.
